Uses: Diethyltoluenediamine is used as a chain extender for reaction injection molding polyurethanes, polyurethane coatings, epoxy resins, alkyd resin curing agent. Pesticides, dye intermediates, plastics, rubber, oil antioxidants.
Diethyltoluenediamine is an aromatic diamine curing agent for polyurethane elastomers and epoxy resins used in pouring, coatings, adhesives, and chain extenders for polyurethane and polyurea elastomers. It has a fast reaction speed with polyurethane prepolymers, and is mainly used for reaction casting polyurethane systems and spraying polyurethane (urea) elastic coating systems, which have the advantages of fast reaction speed, short demolding time, high initial strength, hydrolysis resistance and heat resistance. In addition, the product can also be used as an antioxidant for elastomers, lubricants and industrial greases, as well as an intermediate in chemical synthesis.
